As of 01 January 2026, Axe Library no longer has a print subscription to the New York Times.

To access issues of the NYT:

  1. Go to the Axe Library webpage (https://axe.pittstate.edu)
  2. Under "Search" scroll down to the box labeled "Search for Specific Journal Titles" and type in "new york times"
  3. A list of sources you can access the newspaper will appear. Gale OneFile: News has current issues available, although there are several options that will display.*

*If you are off campus you will be prompted to login.

Students: Use your GUS ID and password

Staff/Faculty: Use your Active Directory Login (without @pittstate.edu) and password.
