Summon

Search Summon by clicking here.

This tool allows you to search several different places at the same time. It will search our library's catalog and a selection of our databases for results that fit your search criteria.

You can filter your results by using the limiters located on the left side of the screen. To see only Peer Reviewed items by check the "Peer Reviewed" box towards the top of the limiters list.

Databases

You can navigate to a specific database by finding the one you want on our Databases A-Z list.

Once you're in the database you want, most should have limiters similar to Summon either as part of the initial search, available in your search results, or under the "Advanced Search" option (usually near your search bar). Simply click the option to limit to "Peer Reviewed" and only peer reviewed results will be displayed within that database.

Subject Guides

We also have Subject Guides on many topics and within them we have lists of linked journals and databases that relate to that specific topic. Using these can be a quick and easy way to find databases and journals specific to your research.

Once inside the journal/database simply follow the steps listed under the Databases section above.
