How to create your Summon/RefWorks Login
- Go to https://axe.pittstate.edu/ and just click search on Summon (first search bar under the banner image at the top of the page).
- From the Summon page, on the top right corner, click RefWorks login. (don't worry about logging into Summon)
- From the RefWorks page, all the way at the bottom in tiny print, click "no account? sign up here".
- Enter your PSU e-mail address and create a password.
- Congratulations! You now have a RefWorks account.
How to log back in to our catalog - Summon/RefWorks
If you are on Summon (our catalog) you can log in by clicking RefWorks in the top right corner. Unlike Microsoft or Adobe,
RefWorks/Summon is not connected to your PSU account. You will still
need to use your PSU email, but your password may not match your current PSU account password. After logging in you should have access to our catalog and the ability to save searches for later reference.

RefWorks Overview
RefWorks is a citation management tool that allows you to store all your research in one place, collaborate with others on projects, and even generate citations and bibliographies all in one place.
